New rules and code of conduct due to changes in government guidance and law

Step 2 – 12th April until not before 17th May

Please read before attending the Park. We have triple checked these rules, as have Skateboard GB and hope you can bear with us until 17th May ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Important notice for all adults and children participating

 

Indoor sport, exercise, or activities indoors during Step 2 is restricted to individuals only
 
So, all mixing and gathering indoors between individuals is strictly not allowed, this is a condition for us to open

  • You must keep at least 2 metres apart from other people

  • You must not mix or gather with other people

  • This is the legal definition of a gathering.

A gathering takes place when two or more persons are present together in the same
place in order—
(i)to engage in any form of social interaction with each other, or
(ii)to undertake any other activity with each other;

Please help keep Flo open during Step 2 by complying with this

 

  • Some of the fun will be taken out of it, we know, and we are sorry for this, but it is this, or we close and not open until the middle of May

  • ​Do not share any mobile devices, equipment, food, or drink with others

  • Wash your hands regularly, using hand sanitizer stations or soap and water in the toilets

  • Please follow the one-way system we have in place

  • Please use common sense in the toilets, wait your turn and observe social distancing

  • Whilst not participating please wear face coverings

  • After your session, please use the side exit by the toilets and stairs

  • We are also not allowed to admit spectators including parents, please contact us if you are a parent and this is an issue for your child attending a session

  • Please note that your data will be used to support NHS test and trace

Important notice to parents of children participating
 
We are not permitted to allow parents accompanying their children to come into the park, other than to admit their children until Step 3 of the Government Roadmap on 17th May
We are sorry, but it is the only way we can legally open


Please contact us on 07863 130 300 if this is an issue for your child attending a session

 

  • Assuming you still come to the park, after your child or children are admitted then please wait in the car park or visit nearby amenities

  • But, please let reception staff know if you are leaving the site

  • If not, bring a deckchair to sit outside if its sunny

  • We also cannot allow parents to bring their children’s friends with them

  • Children are not allowed to mix or gather with other participants

  • Children must keep at least 2 metres apart from other participants or staff

  • Parents must wear face coverings when entering the premises to admit their children

  • After the session, children will leave the premises by the side exit by the toilets and stairs so will come into the car park from the side of the building

  • If we as the operators of the skatepark cannot ensure our participants and parents adhere to these rules, then we will be unable to stay open
