COVID-19 - Individual Guidance

 

New rules and code of conduct due to changes in government guidance and law

Individuals participating

  • You must not participate or mix with other people; this is a condition for us to operate

  • Always keep at least 2 metres apart from other people 

  • Do not mix or congregate with other people

  • No physical contact, no hugs, high-fives, fist-bumps, etc

  • Do not try difficult or dangerous tricks, to reduce risk of injury

  • Make sure only one person is completing a run at a time

  • Clean your skate equipment before and after skating and do not touch anything else

  • Do not share any mobile devices, equipment, food or drink with others

  • Wash your hands regularly, using hand sanitizer stations or soap and water in the toilets

  • Please follow the one-way system we have in place

  • Please use common sense in the toilets, wait your turn and observe social distancing

  • Whilst not participating please wear face coverings

  • After your session please use the side exit by the toilets and stairs

NB

If we as the operators of the skatepark cannot ensure our participants and parents adhere to these rules, then we will be unable to stay open

Please note that your data will be used to support NHS Track and Trace if required

Hopefully, all of this will be temporary, please bear with us

Parents

  • We ask all parents of children 12 or over to wait in the car park or visit the nearby amenities after your child has been admitted

  • We do not allow spectators except for one parent of their child or children under 12

  • We do not allow parents of children under 12 to have non-participating children with them

  • We do not allow parents to bring their children’s friends with them

  • Children are not allowed to mix with other children

  • Children must keep at least 2 metres apart from other people

  • Parents must keep at least 2 metres apart from other people 

  • You must not mix with anyone or gather in groups 

  • Parents must wear face coverings  

  • If the spectator’s area on the mezzanine is occupied by other parents, please wait in the seating area in reception

  • Please use common sense in the toilets, wait your turn and observe social distancing

  • After the session please use the side exit by the toilets and stairs
